FROM KICKSTARTER: Αn amalgam of tantalizing strategic thought, high adrenaline and suspense! A tabletop board game with 13 miniatures and AR*!! (*AR = Augmented Reality). Luna Park Word is an idea born out of a father’s desire to create a board game for his young daughters, almost five years ago. The kids grew up and so did the game. The white paper was replaced by a high quality illustrated board and the coins , which were used to represent the kids gave their initial place to well-designed teenager sketches which eventually turned into some nice miniatures. We revised the rules and added gameplay features to make the game even more solid and interesting. After countless nights of playing Luna Park World head to head here in JinxSoft, we decided that it was too good and too addictive to keep it for ourselves. During the last six months, we have been having more than a hundred gameplay tests from various age groups to ensure the potential of our endeavour. So here we are asking for your backing and support to improve and produce one of the most fun games you will ever play!

First comes the Competitive mode. In this mode each player chooses one of the teen heroes and competes against his friends in a fast paced duel of wits and will. The goal of this mode is to collect more keys and more trophies as well as unlock more games and rides than the competitors. The players also have three potions in their inventory, each of them granting a different boon.

The second mode is a co-operative one, we call ‘Mayhem’.This is because up to 8 players can participate in this breathtaking yet unforgiving mode. The players choose among the six heroes or the six guardians (each one with his unique special ability) and participate in a chaotic race against the other team. The teens try to unlock all the games and rides of the park and the guardians to stop and arrest them!

Story:

Luna Park World takes place in a secret island somewhere of the Mediterranean Sea. Our heroes, teenagers from various countries, find themselves in that island after their cruise ship sunk. Then, the

most weird thing happens. A bizarre man named Mister Funfair, invites them to his Luna Park and promises, that if they manage to unlock all the games of his theme park, he will provide them with the means to return home. Easy right? Well not really, as the keys for these games are scattered throughout the island and they are well protected by six elite guardians. So what is Luna Park World? We could say that it is an amalgam of tantalizing strategic thought, high adrenaline and suspense! The variety of the gameplay modes as well as the different ways to move around the board, ensure that no two games will ever be the same.

Let’s talk about the Gameplay Modes.

• First comes the Competitive mode. In this mode each player chooses one of the teen heroes and competes against his friends in a fast paced duel of wits and will. The players choose among the six heroes or the six guardians (each one with his unique special ability) and participate in a chaotic race against the other team. The teens try to unlock all the games and rides of the park and the guardians to stop and arrest them!
• The last mode and – needless to say – our pride is the Campaign mode. You may choose a teen hero and lead him through a series of quests and stages to obtain the title “Lord of the Keys”. Unfortunately, the guardians of Luna Park World will make the journey of the hero even harder by placing traps and chasing the hero around. So buy potions, act wisely and maybe at the end of the campaign you will be the one holding the One Key.
